About

The English translation of Leer Futuro is “to read the future”. This project is the work of London photographer and visual sociologist, Morlene Fisher.

The project examines the location of the Caribbean plantation, past and present. At this stage, the project is in it’s infancy and the concept has not yet been fully realised, however this online space will contain the materials and research exhibits collected over the duration of the work and will act as an online repository for the processes and writings that will contribute to the final result.

At this stage the final result has not been determined, but as this project grows, so I hope that this site will provide a great resource for conversation about the subject matter and possibly the methods used to develop the material involved.

Thanks for visiting

Morlene
